Global Artsphere Institute of Performing Arts Programs in 2025

We encourage students with the potential and desire to become classical ballet and Modern/Contemporary dance artists. During our audition period, we accept students aged 12 - 17 for Levels 1 to 4 Transitional Program and Full-Time CUA51520—Diploma of Professional Dance (Elite Performance) applicants aged 17 -23 or the GAPA non-credited Professional Dance Program Full-time training.

Auditions are offered in 2 formats.

• In-person audition and interview by appointment

• Video Submission

These auditions are to attend the GAPA Margot Fonteyn Affiliate School Transition Program Levels 1 - 4, GAPA Full-Time CUA51520 - Diploma of Professional Dance (Elite Performance), and GAPA non-credited Professional Dance Program beginning February 3, 2025, in Cheltenham, Melbourne, Australia.

The in-person audition will consist of a ballet class with a classical and contemporary teacher from the GAPA faculty. Please email contact@globalartshpere.org to organise your in-person audition time and fill out the form using the link below.

There is a $50 non-refundable application fee for all auditions. Please find below the button for audition information, applications to audition, payment links, and futher information.

Audition Process Timeline

Welcome to the audition process for the Transition Program and the CUA51520 - Diploma of Professional Dance (Elite Performance) full-time program with Global Artsphere. Follow the steps below to understand each stage of the journey from application to enrolment.

Audition for 2025 entries closes on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 5pm.

1. Application

Date: Ongoing

Description:

Submit your application and payment through our online application form

2. Audition

Date: To be scheduled upon application review

Description:

Participate in a live class or video-recorded audition showcasing your ballet and contemporary dance skills and technique. Please use the above button to submit your audition and application.

Preparation Tips:

- Wear appropriate ballet attire for auditioning

- Warm up thoroughly

- Follow the audition guidelines provided in the application form

3. Interview

Date: After a successful audition notification.

Description:

Attend a one-on-one interview with our faculty members to discuss your goals, experiences, and aspirations in dance.

Interview Format:

- In-person or via Zoom ( if under 18 years you must have a parent or guardian present)

- Approximately 30 minutes

4. Psychology and Physiotherapy Assessment:

Date: Post-interview

Description:

Undergo assessments with our professional Psychologists and dance specialist Phyician to ensure your mental and physical readiness for the program.

Assessment Components:

- Psychological evaluation

- Physical fitness and injury prevention assessment

5. Letter of Offer

Date: Within two weeks after assessments

Description:

Receive a formal letter of offer from Global Artsphere if you meet all the criteria.

What's Next:

- Review the offer details carefully

- Prepare any questions you may have

6. Acceptance

Date: Upon receiving the letter of offer via email.

Accept the offer by signing and returning the acceptance form by the deadline noted in your offer letter.

Steps to Follow:

- Sign the acceptance form

- Pay the initial deposit to secure your place

7. Scholarship Application

Date: Concurrent with the acceptance process

Description:

Apply for available scholarships to support your dance study fees. Details on scholarships and eligibility criteria will be provided at the time of acceptance.

Required Documents:

- Scholarship application form

- Financial statements

- Additional references (if applicable)

8. Enrolment

Date: Before the start of the program, the deadline is January 15, 2025

Description:

Complete the enrolment process, including finalising payments, attending orientation sessions, and receiving your class schedule.

Final Steps:

- Submit all required enrolment forms

- Attend the orientation program
